Job Summary
WEST Float Team LPN provides direct, high-quality patient care under RN supervision across multiple Wellstar facilities. The role delivers care across diverse units, conducts assessments and procedures per physician orders, collaborates with RNs, therapists, and care teams, and serves as the eyes and ears for changes in patient condition. Also responsible for patient and caregiver education, accurate and timely documentation, participation in care team huddles, and ongoing professional development and training. Focused on compassionate, patient-centered care and seamless coordination within the health system.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent – Required
- Current LPN license in the state of Georgia – Required
- At least 3+ years of recent medical-surgical or acute care nursing experience – Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association – Required
