Job Summary
Critical Care RN for the W.E.S.T. Float Team conducting evidence-based, high-acuity patient care across Wellstar facilities. Provide care to adults in ICU-level units, administer medications and infusions, respond to emergencies, educate and advocate for patients and families, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain the highest standards of care. Requires BSN preferred, active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and 2+ years of ICU-level experience. Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
- Active RN license (compact or single state)
- BLS – Basic Life Support from AHA
- ACLS required
- 2+ years of recent Critical Care RN experience (ICU, CVICU, SICU, MICU, or similar)
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient advocacy skills
