Job Summary
Provide evidence-based, individualized care using the full nursing process for complex, high-acuity patients. Safely administer medications, infusions, and treatments while responding quickly to emergencies. Partner with patients and families to educate and advocate, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of care. Manage daily critical care duties across Wellstar facilities as part of the W.E.S.T. Float Team, gaining depth of experience in ICU, CVICU, SICU, or MICU settings.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active RN license (compact or single state)
- BLS - Basic Life Support from AHA
- ACLS
- Minimum 2+ years of Recent Critical Care RN experience (ICU, CVICU, SICU, MICU, or similar)
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Calm under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient advocacy skills
- Highly adaptable, organized, and team-oriented
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- CCRN certification preferred
