Job Summary
Critical Care RN for Wellstar's W.E.S.T. Float Team, across Augusta and Columbia County facilities. Provide evidence-based, individualized care to high-acuity ICU/CVICU/SICU/MICU patients; administer medications and infusions; respond quickly to emergencies; collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams; educate, advocate, and empower patients and families. Requires RN licensure (compact or single state), BLS, ACLS; BSN preferred; minimum 2+ years of recent critical care experience; CCRN preferred. Strong clinical judgment, calm under pressure, and excellent communication; highly adaptable and team-oriented. Day shift.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (compact or single state)
- BLS - Basic Life Support from AHA
- ACLS required
- 2+ years of recent Critical Care RN experience (ICU, CVICU, SICU, MICU, or similar)
- BSN preferred
- Evidence-based nursing care
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Ability to educate, advocate, and empower patients and families
- Team-oriented and adaptable
