Job Summary
Assess, analyze, and implement evidence-based interventions for patients while prioritizing care goals and evaluating outcomes. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to address patient needs through emotional support, education, and family engagement. Administer medications and treatments per state law, strictly adhering to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards. Document care services accurately and maintain confidentiality. Verify equipment maintenance, delegate tasks safely, and adapt care methods to accommodate diverse patient needs. Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and participate in team problem-solving. Adhere to all safety protocols, utilize assistive devices for lifting, and meet required vaccinations and respirator fit testing.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a program accredited by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA)
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Oklahoma or multistate licensure in a party state in compliance with primary residency rules and requirements
- American Heart Association BLS
- NIHSS
- ACLS
- PALS
- CPI Training
- ENPC
- TNCC
- Current valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Oklahoma or multistate licensure in a party state in compliance with primary residency rules and requirements
- American Heart Association BLS and NIHSS
- ACLS, PALS, and CPI Training
- ENPC and TNCC
- Current valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance
- Communication skills including fluency in oral and written English
- Basic computer skills including the ability to send/receive/email, navigate information technology associated with the position, and use Electronic Health Record information tools
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to remain flexible to quickly adapt to urgent situations
- Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position
- Must adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Utilization of assistive devices for lifting is mandatory
- Implement DRH Standards of Behavior and exhibit behaviors consistent with DRH core values
- Per DRH policy, all required conditions of employment must be met and maintained including required vaccinations
- This position requires respirator and fit testing
- Applicants for this position cannot test positive in pre-employment drug tests (or any drug tests administered after employment begins) for the presence of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)
- Medical and Religious Exemptions are available upon request
Desired Qualifications
