Job Summary
Provide care to ED patients including timely triage, physical assessment, treatment, reassessment, discharge planning, and health education. Meet core measures, contribute to reducing length of stay, and actively participate in quality, safety, and performance improvement activities. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding customer service to patients, families, physicians, and the public while meeting CDPH, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory requirements. This part-time, night shift role reports to the Director of Critical Care Services. Recent ER or critical care experience in an acute general hospital is required.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months of recent ER or critical care experience in an acute general hospital
- Current CA RN License
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA)
- CPI/AB508 or equivalent within 90 days of hire, transfer, or promotion
- Proficiency in both written and oral English
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a critical care training program
