Job Summary
RN Critical Care Adult PACU in Syracuse, NY, contract position with 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30 or 11:00–23:30), every other weekend, no call. Provide post-anesthesia care to adult critical care patients in a fast-paced PACU at an academic medical center. Requires NY RN license, BLS, and a minimum of 2 years’ inpatient PACU/critical care experience; EPIC EMR experience preferred. Compensation is $68/hour with benefits including PTO, paid sick time, 401(k) match after 1 year, health insurance, and license reimbursement after 1 year. Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Current New York State RN License; Current BLS certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient PACU and Critical Care experience in an acute care facility of comparable or larger size/level (trauma center experience preferred for travelers).
- Technical Skills: EPIC EMR experience is preferred.
