Job Summary
RN Corrections role inside Womens Huron Valley Correctional in Ypsilanti, MI. Shifts are 6p-6:30a. Responsibilities include nursing assessments, dispensing medications, care coordination, and adherence to client and ATC Healthcare policies. Must maintain HIPAA confidentiality, communicate effectively, and utilize electronic records. Requires active nursing license, background screening, and health clearances (TB, drug screen, Hepatitis B as applicable). Must be able to provide patient care in a correctional setting with culturally appropriate, non-judgmental care, including oversight of FDA-approved medications to treat opioid use disorder. Eligible candidates will have CPR/BLS certification and ability to work in a high-security environment; overtime/physical demands may apply. Compensation: $64/hour with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and additional programs. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Active nursing license in state of practice
- Experience of at least one year in nursing
- Background screening requirements
- CPR/BLS certification
- TB screening and related health assessments
