Job Summary
RN Coordinator Trauma/Womens: coordinates care for obstetrical trauma patients in a patient/family-centered approach, remains available for all trauma activations 24/7, follows the patient through the hospital (Trauma Resuscitation bay, Radiology, OR, PACU, ICU), works with the Director of Trauma Services and Trauma Medical Director to identify performance improvement opportunities and create action plans with trauma staff, assists in coordinating care and improving quality outcomes, requires RN licensure and an Associate Degree with relevant trauma/Nursing certifications within stated timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- (RN) Registered Nurse must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
