Job Summary
Coordinate trauma care for female patients as an RN, collaborating with physicians, OB/GYN, and ED teams to ensure evidence-based protocols from admission through discharge. Lead trauma documentation, use trauma registries and EMR systems, support quality-improvement initiatives, and develop care plans and clinical pathways. Provide education to nurses and staff on trauma and women’s health protocols; participate in drills, simulations, and debriefings to improve readiness and outcomes; liaise with patients and families about injuries, treatment plans, and available resources.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
- strong clinical assessment skills
- excellent communication skills
- experience coordinating trauma care and women’s health services
- proficiency with electronic medical records and trauma documentation systems
- ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- data collection and quality improvement experience
- trauma documentation and data monitoring
