Job Summary
RN Coordinator for Trauma Women’s is responsible for coordinating trauma care for female patients within a hospital setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support trauma and women’s health services, overseeing trauma case tracking, assisting with triage and ongoing patient assessment, ensuring adherence to evidence-based protocols from admission through discharge, coordinating care plans and education for staff and patients, supporting data collection from trauma registries, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives, policies, and clinical pathways in partnership with leadership. The role requires strong clinical assessment, judgment, effective communication, and proficiency with EMR systems to track patient care and ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- RN license required
- Registered Nurse
- clinical coordination experience preferred
- experience in trauma or women’s health settings
- proficiency with electronic medical records
- ability to develop and implement care plans
- strong communication and collaboration skills
- quality improvement experience preferred
