Job Summary
RN Compliance/HCHB Specialist responsible for regulatory compliance oversight across federal, state, and local requirements (Medicare/Medicaid/CMS/HIPAA), internal audits, policy/procedure development with clinical leadership, leading the QAPI committee, and implementing compliance programs to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Leads corrective actions from audits or surveys, collaborates with departments to address compliance concerns, educates staff on compliance obligations, and may supervise nursing staff, home health aides, and other team members as needed. Duties include tracking compliance requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining audit records, with regular on-site responsibilities in Newton, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure as Registered Nurse (RN)
- Compliance knowledge with federal/state/local regulations (Medicare/Medicaid/CMS/HIPAA)
- Experience in healthcare compliance, audits, accreditation, and QA/QI
- Experience supervising nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop and implement policies/procedures and corrective action plans
