Assess patients, analyze problems and conditions using critical decision-making, and determine needs for standard, urgent, or emergent interventions. Implement and modify care plans based on assessment data, standards of care, and evidence-based practice, including nursing care coordination, patient and family education, and discharge planning. Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures while evaluating progress toward desired patient outcomes. Collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team to facilitate partnership in patient care and integrate ethical provisions that preserve patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
