Job Summary
Deliver individualized, comprehensive patient care by making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and implementing care plans. Collect data to identify outcomes, develop and evaluate individualized nursing orders, and delegate tasks to Unlicensed Assistive Personnel while monitoring quality. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to foster a positive environment. Maintain current knowledge through ongoing education and mentorship participation. This role requires a current ND State Board of Nursing RN license and a nursing degree from an accredited school. The position is at CHI St. Alexius Health Turtle Lake, a 25-bed critical access hospital offering 24/7 emergency care, swing-bed programs, and acute services. New hires may qualify for a $20,000 employment incentive.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
- ND State Board of Nursing current RN
- Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state
- Graduate Nurse (G.N.) must practice under the supervision of a registered nurse while the work authorization to practice is valid
- Good communications skills
- Accountable for own conduct
- Promotes and supports working relationships amongst coworkers and all of the clinic staff
- Maintains confidentiality of all patient information
