Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Mother Baby Postpartum unit leads nursing care delivery on the shift, directs, monitors, and evaluates patient care, collaborates with management and staff, supports patient-centered care, and participates in staffing, training, and policy compliance. The role includes admission/discharge facilitation, quality assessment, staff development and training, interviewing and training recommendations, staff scheduling, productivity management, and inventory control to support efficient throughput and better clinical outcomes. Requires RN licensure with a BSN or ADN, Neonate Resuscitation within 30 days, ACLS and BCLS certifications within specified timelines, and at least 1 year of nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- ACLS or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- BCLS or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- 1 year of experience required
