Job Summary
RN CNA Course Instructor in Charleston, WV responsible for delivering CNA classroom and clinical training in accordance with the West Virginia Department of Health curriculum within our long-term care facility. Instructs and supervises the Certified Nurse Aide course, prepares course materials, and evaluates students through examinations, assignments, skills assessments, and clinical evaluations. Ensures student conduct and behavior standards, regulatory compliance with state and federal guidelines, and that students achieve competency before patient care activities. Prepares students to sit for the Delaware Certified Nursing Assistant exam and creates class schedules while monitoring attendance. Requires RN licensure with LTC/SNF experience and completion of a program/course for teaching adult learners (WV). Per diem, casual hours at Complete Care at Oak Ridge in Charleston, WV.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a good communicator
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
- Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
- RN with experience in LTC/SNF
- Completion of a professionally recognized course in teaching adult learners, or the teaching the educator course for the CNA program through the state of West Virginia
