Job Summary
Conduct initial clinical assessments and develop nursing care plans for assigned clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Visit clients every 45 days to oversee delegation of approved functions to certified Medication Technicians and perform interim visits within 48 hours to earn supplemental pay. Delegate medication administration and train staff on competency in nursing care plans and error management. Work 25 hours weekly in person for the first two months before transitioning to a hybrid schedule with no on-call rotation. Requires a current Maryland RN license and experience using Google Platform.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid compact state of Maryland Registered Nurse license
- Must have a working 'smart' cell phone capable of making calls, receiving calls, receiving emails and sending emails
- Credentialing required to practice as an RN in this setting
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Must be able to travel to customers for the purpose of delegation of and oversight of approved functions
- Must be able to report to work during State and/or National emergency periods
- Must be able to travel during periods with domestic travel restrictions
- Must be available for the first 6-8 weeks of this position requires a minimum of 25 hours each week of in person work (in the Baltimore and surrounding county area)
- Must be flexible
- Must be well-organized self-starters
- Must be able to pick up on electronic systems quickly
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be able to work well with the team
- Experience using Google Platform
- Experience navigating software programs
