Job Summary
RN Supervisor for Home Care (Per Diem) conducts on-site supervisory and teaching visits to evaluate caregivers, provides clinical orientation to caregivers on assigned home care cases, participates in training of new nurses, performs initial nursing assessments, counsels patients/caregivers on nursing needs, assigns and coordinates services, assists physician in developing and revising care plans, and prepares clinical progress notes while ensuring accurate documentation. Requires Registered Nurse (RN), CPR certification, 1 year of home care experience, 1 year of supervisory/management experience, and a valid NYS driver’s license; mileage is reimbursed.
