Job Summary
Lead and support clinical teams in delivering exceptional patient care while ensuring appropriate staffing levels and collaborating on patient flow and bed management. Guide co-workers through professional growth, mentor them to become leaders of change, and hold caregivers accountable for adherence to policies and regulatory standards. Partner with physicians and administrative teams to enhance workflows, improve processes, and use resources efficiently to meet productivity and financial goals. Model Mercy's mission and values in all interactions while participating in performance evaluations with the Clinical Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Nursing Diploma
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or compact licensure
- 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
