Job Summary
Manage internal casework and evaluate nursing talent development while performing start-of-care assessments and re-evaluations to transition patients from facilities to home care. Review physicians' orders, update care plans and documentation, and assist in interviewing, selecting, training, and validating new clinical staff. Enhance the clinical expertise of field staff to ensure safe, high-quality nursing care and collaborate with operations and business development teams. Ensure compliance with State, Federal, Local, and Aveanna policies and procedures. This leadership role combines clinical expertise and administrative responsibilities for medically fragile patients in Fort Worth, TX, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, rotating on-call rotations, and quarterly bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Current, good-standing RN license in the state of practice
- At least 1 year of hands-on nursing experience
- Ability to travel to patients' homes within the designated territory
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass MVR check
- Current CPR certification (AHA or ARC)
- Willingness to supervise nurses providing in-home skilled nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and adults
- Must comply with all health-related requirements in applicable jurisdictions, including vaccinations and testing, subject to medical or religious exemptions
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience with computer systems, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe applications
