Job Summary
Oversee and monitor facility quality and satisfaction data while directing patient placement across units based on clinical need and capacity. Provide clinical direction and supervision for the Discharge Lounge, mentoring staff performance and ensuring appropriate staffing levels to optimize routine operations. Utilize the nursing process to coordinate patient care plans for the age-appropriate population and serve as the clinical expert and role model for the team. This role supports Allegheny General Hospital's Level I Shock Trauma Center and Cancer Center within the Allegheny Health Network system.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree Nursing or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Previous supervisory experience
Desired Qualifications
- BSN
- 3 years' experience in clinical specialty
- Certification in area of specialty
