Job Summary
Manage internal casework and evaluate nursing talent development for medically fragile patients in home care. Perform start-of-care assessments and re-evaluations to transition patients from facilities, while reviewing physician orders and updating care plans. Assist in interviewing, selecting, training, and validating new clinical staff to ensure safe, high-quality nursing care. Collaborate with operations and business development teams to drive positive outcomes. Ensure compliance with state, federal, local, and Aveanna policies. Schedule includes Monday–Friday daytime hours with rotating on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- Current, good-standing RN license in the state of practice
- At least 1 year of hands-on nursing experience
- Ability to travel to patients' homes within the designated territory
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass MVR check
- Current CPR certification (AHA or ARC)
- Willingness to supervise nurses providing in-home skilled nursing care to infants, children, adolescents, and adults
- Willingness to comply with all health-related requirements in applicable jurisdictions, including vaccinations and testing, subject to medical or religious exemptions
