RN-Clinical Resident Nurse- Med/Surg 8T

Assess patients accurately based on medical conditions and administer prescribed medications while performing basic self-care activities. Formulate teaching plans for patients and families, evaluate their effectiveness, and assist physicians with procedures requiring technical skills. Prioritize patient care efficiently, address psychosocial needs, and communicate with social services regarding discharge planning. Promote patient safety through cost-effective supply usage and lifelong learning in nursing practice. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance outcomes and restore patient health. Requires BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS/PALS preferred.
