Job Summary
Conduct clinical quality analysis by interpreting patient, claims, and financial data to identify trends and drive measurable improvements in care outcomes. Prepare case summaries, perform root cause analysis, and lead interdisciplinary audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and CMS regulations. Coordinate annual agency-wide reviews, manage EHR quality, and support staff training on regulatory standards and new competencies. Monitor hospice admissions, discharges, and consents while assisting with cost reduction strategies and supply ordering. Collaborate on educational programs and performance improvement activities to maintain organizational quality benchmarks.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current LPN licensure in the State of Nevada
- RN preferred
- CPR/BLS Certified
- At least 5 years clinical nursing experience
- Experience working with hospice accrediting bodies
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Excel
- Word
- PowerPoint
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, state, and governmental regulations
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Current auto insurance
- Successful completion of a background check pursuant to NRS 449.188 and NRS 179A.100

- Verification of education
- Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years in a hospice quality role
- Certification in CPHQ or Lean Six Sigma
- Ability to obtain certification within specified time frame
