Job Summary
Develop and evaluate clinical education programs to enhance the competencies of nurses and clinicians. Create, revise, and deliver instructional materials while facilitating orientation, workshops, and continuing education sessions. Design processes to assess, validate, and document clinical performance through observation and simulation, ensuring alignment with Joint Commission standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with unit leaders to identify training needs and integrate evidence-based practices into workflows. Maintain subject matter expertise on clinical policies and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing, current RN license, and CPR/BLS certification. Per diem dayshift schedule at St. Helena Hospital in Napa, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS or AHA-CPR or ARC-CPR
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Three years' of recent experience in an acute care setting
- One year experience in clinical education or staff development
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Other professional certifications
