Job Summary
Coordinate ongoing clinical quality improvement initiatives by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based clinical quality goals using appropriate standards of care. Serve as a liaison and mentor to clinical outcome improvement teams, creating templates for streamlining pathway development and implementation. Educate others on clinical quality initiatives and provide feedback to medical staff and administration regarding outcomes from performance measures. Serves on at least one nursing council, hospital, or medical center committee to improve patient care. Supports the University of Mississippi Medical Center's mission to provide the highest quality health care through these operational improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- two (2) years of experience in healthcare management
- two (2) years of experience in healthcare quality improvement
- two (2) years of experience in case management
- two (2) years of experience in performance improvement
- two (2) years of experience in direct patient care
- Valid RN License

- Knowledge of current theoretical approaches to delivering nursing care
- Knowledge of current theoretical approaches to delivering nursing care and strategies for examining and applying relevant concepts
