Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse provides patient-centered, specialized nursing care across the continuum through an interprofessional approach to treatment, education, and advocacy. Responsible for delivering compassionate, safe care within scope of practice, collaborating with the care team to achieve high-quality outcomes, promoting mentoring and professional development, and maintaining adherence to department competencies and safety standards. Role emphasizes evidence-based practice, plan of care in collaboration with interprofessional team, risk management, and ongoing contribution to a culture of innovation within ThedaCare.
Required Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin RN Licensure
- BSN or commitment to obtain within five years OR Associate's Degree in Nursing accepted for those hired prior to 1/23/17
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications per department/location
- NRP certification for certain departments/areas as specified
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to stand, walk, and perform nursing duties; willingness to comply with competency requirements
- Team-based, patient-centered nursing care across multiple departments including Medical/Surgical, Critical Care, Emergency, Cardiovascular, and Operating Rooms
