RN Clinical Nurse IV

Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting. Reports to the Nurse Manager/Director and coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process. Performs education, evaluation of care, implementation of care for patients with complex needs, and leadership activities to promote professional growth, interdisciplinary collaboration, and discharge planning. Practices includes bedside point of care testing, adherence to nursing standards and policies, prioritization of tasks for patients with complex problems, and effective communication to promote continuity of care. Strong emphasis on patient assessment, planning with patients and families, cultural considerations, and ongoing professional development.
