RN Clinical Nurse IV - Emergency Department

Provides competent clinical nursing care in the Emergency Department in alignment with professional standards. Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process in an inpatient hospital setting, including education for patients and families, evaluation of care with the interdisciplinary team, implementation of care for patients with complex needs, leadership in goal setting and performance improvement, patient assessment and planning, and collaboration to ensure safe, culturally-sensitive care and effective discharge planning. Requires RN licensure in North Carolina, BLS certification, and at least one year of nursing experience; night-shift, onsite employment at Nash UNC Health Care (Rocky Mount, NC).
