Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse II floats to UNC Health hospital locations within the Central Staffing Office, providing competent clinical nursing care across Acute Care (Med-Surg & ED Holding), Critical Care, and Emergency Department. Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and floating to multiple UNC Hospital locations with exposure to varying acuity levels. Requires 5 years of inpatient nursing experience; schedule is 36 hours per week with 8- or 12-hour shifts; eligible for full-time benefits and Nursing Commitment Incentive Program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
- Five (5) years of nursing experience
- Education requirements include Bachelor's degree with major in Nursing or Master's degree with major in Nursing within seven years of employment
