Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse in a Cancer Clinic delivers direct nursing care as part of the patient care team. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; coordinating care plans; documenting patient conditions and interventions; maintaining patient and family education and advocacy; participating in performance improvement and quality initiatives; upholding confidentiality, safety, and professional standards; supporting Shared Governance; and mentoring/precepting other nurses as needed. Requires professional licensure and appropriate nursing education; BLS certification is required and ongoing professional development is expected. Location: Harlem, GA, US; Day shift; Wellstar Health System.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- BLS - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support
- RN - Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
