Job Summary
Directs clinical services for home health; oversees supervision of home health staff, develops and implements standards and objectives, recruits and hires personnel, plans orientation, maintains policies and procedures to meet Medicare/Medicaid/accrediting bodies, coordinates staffing, ensures interdisciplinary patient care plans, supports physician collaboration, provides 24/7 on-call coverage, and upholds confidentiality and quality improvement through the Agency's QAPI program.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the state(s) where currently practicing.
- Three to five years of experience in health care/home care, preferred.
- Two years’ experience in a supervisory position, preferred.
- Knowledge and ability to apply community health principles and practices.
- Knowledge of Agency policies and procedures.
- Ability to supervise, guide, and develop skills and performance of service personnel.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to work with individuals.
- Ability to enlist the cooperation of many people in furthering a program.
- Ability to assist in evaluating personnel per Agency policy.
- Monitors the probationary period for new employees.
- Ability to deal effectively with high levels of stress.
