Job Summary
The RN Clinical Manager oversees the provision of home health services to patients, ensuring compliance with physician orders and care plans. Duties include developing and implementing standards and objectives for the Agency, recruiting and managing staff, evaluating personnel, and ensuring quality care. The role requires the ability to support and guide service personnel, manage high-stress situations, and maintain effective communication with medical professionals. This position may include responsibilities for budgeting and resource allocation, on-call coverage, and conducting educational programs.
Required Qualifications
- Registered by the state(s) where currently practicing
- Three to five years of experience in health care/home care, preferred
- Two years’ experience in a supervisory position, preferred
- Knowledge and ability to apply community health principles and practices
- Knowledge of Agency policies and procedures
- Ability to supervise, guide, and develop skills and performance of service personnel
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Ability to work with individuals
- Ability to enlist the cooperation of many people in furthering a program
- Ability to assist in evaluating personnel per Agency policy
- Ability to deal effectively with high levels of stress
