Job Summary
Supervise and manage clinical staff while monitoring patient care to ensure compliance with hospice regulations and industry best practices. Coordinate with medical directors and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, conduct regular clinical assessments and audits, and oversee accurate documentation of patient care. Provide education and training to enhance staff skills, assist with staffing and scheduling for continuity of care, and act as a resource for clinical staff and families regarding patient care concerns. Promote the hospice philosophy of dignity, comfort, and respect. This full-time, office-based role with community visits is located in Lewiston, ME, within Andwell Health Partners, a community dedicated to enhancing quality of life through innovative and compassionate home care.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure in Maine
- At least 3-5 years of clinical experience in hospice, palliative care, or a related field
- Previous leadership or management experience in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, Medicare guidelines, and clinical best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- BLS/CPR certification
