Job Summary
Oversee nursing and UAP staff in documentation, patient care, staffing, and clinical competencies while serving as a clinical expert for policies, procedures, and skills. Assist in training and performance appraisals for new and existing staff, and supervise clinical operations to ensure regulatory compliance and emergency response preparedness. Prioritize safety and quality through auditing, education, and participation in data collection or Quality Improvement initiatives. Represent staff at relevant meetings to report updates and explain the importance of clinical and financial management. Work 36 hours weekly in evenings (3p-3a) with every third weekend and holiday rotations. Requires B.S.N., Ohio RN licensure, and three years of pediatric clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- B.S.N.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
- Three years pediatric clinical experience or equivalent combination of education/experience
- 36 hrs/week
- evenings, 3p-3a
- every third weekend rotation
- holiday rotation
- Maintains a current Ohio Nursing License
- Maintains safety and quality as priorities
- Ensures regulatory compliance and emergency response preparedness
