RN / Clinical Excellence Coordinator for UW Medical Center-Northwest

Maintain a highly visible presence in clinical areas, spending over 50% of work time providing at-the-elbow coaching, education, and just-in-time support to frontline staff. Review real-time electronic medical record documentation and clinical decision-making while supporting adherence to policies and evidence-based care standards. Identify high-risk patients and escalate system issues that create barriers to point-of-care delivery. Collaborate with department leadership and clinical nurse specialists to identify trends in safety events and quality metrics, participating in organization-wide committees to improve clinical practice. Targets measures impacting department-specific quality outcomes including fall prevention, pressure injury prevention, and hospital-acquired infection prevention. Full-time day shifts Monday through Friday.
