Job Summary
RN Clinical Educator for the Family Birthing Center at Presbyterian Hospital. Provides educational activities based on learning needs assessments using instructional design, training delivery, learning technology, and evaluation methods to address system-wide performance gaps; may participate in local, state, and national speaking engagements; offers tuition and certification reimbursement opportunities; requires NM or Compact-state nursing licensure and relevant nursing degrees; supports BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC and other emergency certifications; 3+ years of clinical care experience with OB/Family Birthing preferred; comprehensive compensation and benefits package; located in Albuquerque, NM with the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing required.
- Associates Degree in Nursing required, Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Masters and Doctoral Degrees in Nursing, Nursing Education, Education, Instructional Design, informatics Business, Leadership, Informatics, or Administration preferred.
- Specialty Certifications: Specialty certification in nursing, informatics, education or equivalent certification preferred
- Professional Requirements/Emergency Response: Maintains current training in following: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and other emergency response certification may be required depending upon area of assignment
- Experience: Minimum At least 3 years of clinical care expertise required in clinical specialty. Family Birthing/OB experience preferred
- In lieu of the 3 years experience, completion of an accredited nurse residency program, 1 year of Clinical Practice Lead experience, or prior educator experience.
