Job Summary
RN Clinical Educator within the Family Birthing Center at Presbyterian Hospital; supports educational components of the organization’s clinical initiatives and practices, delivering instructional design, training delivery, learning technology, and evaluation to staff; leads projects to bridge performance gaps system-wide with evidence-based content; participates in local/state/national speaking engagements; requires NM nursing licensure or compact, and an associates degree in nursing with advanced degrees preferred; offers tuition/certification reimbursement, loan forgiveness programs, and multiple certifications and leadership opportunities; full-time, M-F schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing required
- Academic Preparation: Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral Degrees in Nursing, Nursing Education, Education, Instructional Design, informatics, Business, Leadership, Informatics, or Administration preferred
- Specialty Certifications: Specialty certification in nursing, informatics, education or equivalent certification preferred
- Professional Requirements/Emergency Response: Maintains current training in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC; emergency response certifications may be required depending on area of assignment
- Experience: Minimum at least 3 years of clinical care expertise in clinical specialty; Family Birthing/OB experience preferred
- Alternative experience paths: completion of an accredited nurse residency program, 1 year Clinical Practice Lead experience, or prior educator experience in lieu of 3 years
