RN Clinical Educator, Emergency Dept, Full Time, Day Shift

Deliver and evaluate staff development and learning opportunities in the Emergency Department; develop patient education materials; lead the professional nursing practice by using established standards of care; collaborate with physicians and staff on process improvement and patient safety activities; oversee and coordinate department education programs, including preceptorship and orientation of staff; support quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and patient safety goals; teach mandatory classes; coordinate and evaluate clinical staff education related to unit-specific information systems and technology; maintain user support structures and ensure confidentiality and safe workflow through collaboration with IT; mentor and develop staff to enhance professional practice and certification efforts; provide consultation and program development for education initiatives as determined by leadership; ensure education is consistent across the enterprise and aligned with standard nursing practice and standards of care.
