Job Summary
Coordinate unit education planning, develop bedside training programs, and monitor staff competency through skill validation and routine audits. Lead orientation and onboarding for new employees, recruit preceptors, and facilitate evidence-based practice changes by utilizing information technology to support best practices. Collaborate with managers on documentation trends, participate in quality and safety governance meetings, and perform needs assessments to design targeted educational opportunities. Serve as a resource for professional growth across clinical roles while ensuring compliance with certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Bachelor's Degree: Nursing
- Work Experience: Nursing
