Job Summary
Conduct needs assessments, employ evidence-based educational methodologies, and act as a change agent to promote evidence-based practice. Provide expert consultation to direct care staff, conduct orientation programs for new staff, and evaluate initial and ongoing competency validation processes. Actively participate in quality improvement activities and multidisciplinary rounds on assigned units while ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes through direct practice and expert coaching. Requires a BSN with five years of clinical educator experience or MSN with three years, plus a Florida RN license. Reports to the RN/Executive Director Clinical Practice.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- BSN and five (5) years job related experience as a clinical educator
- MSN and three (3) years experience as a clinical educator
- License to practice as an RN in the State of Florida
