Job Summary
RN Clinical Data Registrar - OB role focused on collecting, recording, and reporting clinical patient data. Responsibilities include collaborating with clinical staff to capture data from medical records and notes, maintaining accurate data in the hospital's EHR, generating and submitting clinical reports for quality improvement, regulatory, and research projects; monitoring data accuracy; assisting in research related to clinical outcomes and treatment effectiveness; training staff on data collection and documentation; ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive data capture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required
- 2 Years Clinical nursing experience, with a strong background in data collection and clinical documentation
- Minimum of three years current experience in: Labor and Delivery, NICU or Maternal Child Health Nursing
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Required
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association
