Job Summary
RN Clinical Data Registrar in OB collects and records clinical patient data from medical records, clinical assessments, and physician notes following established protocols; maintains accurate data in the hospital's electronic health record (EHR) system; generates and submits timely reports for quality improvement, regulatory requirements, and research; ensures data integrity by monitoring accuracy and completeness, training clinical staff on proper documentation, and collaborating with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support outcomes research and compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree Nursing Required
- 2 Years Clinical nursing experience, with a strong background in data collection and clinical documentation.
- Minimum of three years current experience in: Labor and Delivery, NICU or Maternal Child Health Nursing
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Required
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association
