Job Summary
RN Clinical Data Registrar - Day Shift: Collaborates with clinical staff to collect and record clinical patient data from medical records, clinical assessments, and physician notes; maintains accurate data in the hospital's EHR system; generates and submits timely clinical reports for quality improvement, regulatory, and research projects; monitors data accuracy and supports corrections to ensure data integrity; assists in research related to outcomes and treatment effectiveness; trains clinical staff on data collection and documentation; collaborates with clinicians to ensure comprehensive data capture; maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; offers premium/ incentive pay and career growth opportunities; location: Evanston, IL; travel to Evanston, Highland Park, and Swedish Hospitals may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- 2 years clinical nursing experience with data collection and clinical documentation
- Minimum of three years current experience in Labor and Delivery, NICU or Maternal Child Health Nursing
- RN license with Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association)
