RN Clinical Coordinator - Stepdown (WEEKEND ONLY)

Direct and supervise patient care during assigned shifts, making rounds to ensure clinical standards are met and analyzing workload to determine staffing needs. Coordinate patient transfers, admissions, and discharges while making bed allocations based on staff competence. Facilitate daily operations by organizing work priorities and making immediate administrative decisions in the absence of the Nurse Manager. Assess team member clinical competency, assign preceptors for new hires, and mentor students, LPNs, and unlicensed personnel. Provide feedback on performance and coordinate staff development needs. This weekend-only role requires a licensed RN in Virginia with 2+ years of supervisory experience and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification.
