Job Summary
RN -Clinical Coordinator in Surgical Services (Day shift) leads and coordinates department activities with a focus on ensuring supplies, instruments, and equipment availability for cases; collaborates with surgeons, vendors, and department leaders; implements department policies; ensures regulatory compliance; drives performance improvement and quality patient care; supports staff onboarding, education, and engagement; fosters open communication across multidisciplinary teams; serves as a subject-matter expert for nursing practice and clinical workflows within the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Georgia
- Current Georgia RN license
- Knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
- American Nurses Association Code of Ethics Standards compliance
- Experience in coordinating clinical/surgical services and staff education
- Ability to lead performance improvement initiatives
- Ability to manage equipment, supplies, and vendor relations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Compliance with regulatory requirements for nursing practice
