Job Summary
Clinical Coordinator role overseeing department activities in Surgical Services. Responsible for ensuring supplies, instruments, and equipment are available for procedures; coordinating with surgeons, materials management, and vendors; implementing department policies; ensuring regulatory compliance; supporting staff education, onboarding, and training; driving performance improvement and quality assurance; partnering with nurse managers and educators to promote safe, efficient patient care and professional nursing practice. Requires licensure as an RN and involves day shift leadership and collaboration across nursing staff, physicians, and administration.
Required Qualifications
- RN license (Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act)
- Licensed registered professional nurse
- Leadership/coordination in department
- Coordinate supplies, instruments, equipment and staff for procedures
- Collaborate with managers, educators and vendors for staff onboarding and training
- Quality improvement and performance improvement responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with standards and policies; maintain patient safety and service excellence
