Job Summary
Coordinate clinical and department activities for the 5 West Medical Surgical unit, serving as a vital clinical resource and professional role model. Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and clinical data review. Develop and implement patient plans of care while evaluating responses to ensure optimal outcomes. Act as a crucial link between physicians and the care team, authorizing procedures, assigning duties, and managing shift operations. Take patient assignments based on unit needs and acuity, ensuring appropriate admissions and staff skill mix. Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to promote patient well-being and adhere to professional standards. Full-time or part-time position with a sign-on bonus for qualified external applicants.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing or by endorsement
- One (1) year of clinical RN experience
- RN license to practice in state of employment as applicable
