RN Clinical Coordinator ICU

Coordinate clinical and department activities for the ICU unit while serving as a vital clinical resource and professional role model. Demonstrate strong clinical judgment to ensure high-quality care delivery, acting as a crucial link between physicians and the patient care team. Authorize work procedures, assign duties, and manage as shift charge to actively take patient assignments based on unit needs and acuity. Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records. Develop and implement patient plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring appropriateness of admissions and staff skill mix for safe patient care. Liaise with the multidisciplinary patient care team to direct and prioritize all shift activities.
