Job Summary
Registered Nurse role at USC/Arcadia Multispec in Arcadia, CA. The RN provides therapeutic care within an interdisciplinary team, serves as patient advocate, coordinates education and care across the healthcare continuum, facilitates scheduling of diagnostic and treatment procedures, and leads in areas of Direct/Indirect Patient Care, Support of Systems, Research, Education, and Professional Leadership. Responsibilities include delivering nursing care, maintaining assessments and care plans, administering medications, educating patients and families, ensuring regulatory compliance (NPSG, HIPAA, OSHA, JCAHO standards), and participating in professional activities and quality improvement. Requires a BSN, 2 years RN experience, strong communication, and relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, with CA RN licensure). The position is full-time, 8-hour day shifts, non-exempt, and located in Arcadia, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Req Bachelor’s Degree Nursing Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Req 2 years Experience as RN
- Req Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, read and write English proficiently.
- Req Knowledge of medical procedures and conditions and ability to understand, follow and successfully perform duties, including whole blood collection, and apheresis procedures, in accordance with administrative and clinical policies, regulations and procedures.
- Req Registered Nurse - RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing)
- Req Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
- Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)
- Req Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
- Req Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
